1xBet Sports Bonus Wagering Requirements

The sports bonus is actually much easier to clear than the casino bonus -- but it has its own quirks that trip people up. The big one: you MUST use accumulator bets.

Last verified: April 2026. Information may have changed — always confirm on 1xBet.

I tried to clear my sports bonus with single bets the first time around. Placed 15 bets over two weeks. None of them counted. Not one. Because single bets don't qualify -- only accumulators with 3 or more selections. Nobody tells you this upfront. I burned through two weeks of wagering time placing bets that literally did not count.

Right, so here are the exact rules, a worked example with real teams and odds, and the strategy I use every time.

Sports Bonus Overview

The 1xBet sports welcome bonus matches your first deposit, typically 100% up to a set maximum. How to activate: deposit, navigate to Account > Bonuses, select the sports bonus option.

Key difference from casino: wagering applies to BOTH the deposit and bonus amount combined. Not just the bonus. So a $100 deposit + $100 bonus means 5x wagering on $200 = $1,000 in qualifying bets. The 30-day window is much more forgiving than the casino's 7 days.

You can't have both. You cannot activate both casino and sports welcome bonuses -- you must choose one. Choose wisely. If you bet on sports regularly, the sports bonus is almost always the better pick.

5x Wagering on Accumulators

The sports bonus requires 5x wagering, which sounds low compared to the casino's 35x. But there's a catch: every qualifying bet must be an accumulator with at least 3 selections, and each selection must have odds of 1.40 or higher.

Break it down:

35x. In seven days. Good luck. ...Actually wait, this is the sports bonus. 5x in 30 days. Much more reasonable. But those accumulator rules? That's where it gets tricky.

Qualifying Bet Rules

Here's every rule in one place. Refer back to this before placing each bet.

Accumulator Example with Real Teams and Odds

Let me show you exactly how a qualifying accumulator bet works.

LegMatchSelectionOdds
1Manchester City vs BrentfordMan City to Win1.45
2Real Madrid vs GetafeReal Madrid to Win1.42
3Bayern Munich vs AugsburgBayern to Win1.48

Combined odds: 1.45 x 1.42 x 1.48 = 3.05. Stake: $50. Potential payout: $50 x 3.05 = $152.50 (profit of $102.50).

Wagering credit: The full $50 stake counts toward your $1,000 requirement -- regardless of whether the bet wins or loses. Progress after this bet: $50 / $1,000 = 5% done.

You need 20 bets like this to clear the requirement. Over 30 days, that's roughly one accumulator every 1.5 days. Very doable.

What if one leg has odds below 1.40? Replace the Bayern match with, say, PSG vs Clermont at 1.25 odds. Now the ENTIRE bet doesn't count, even though the other two legs qualify. I made this mistake twice. Always double-check every leg before confirming.

What if a match is postponed? If Bayern vs Augsburg is postponed, that leg is voided. Your 3-leg accumulator becomes a 2-leg accumulator, which does NOT meet the minimum 3-leg requirement. The bet no longer counts. This is why I always include 4 legs instead of the minimum 3 -- insurance against postponements.

What Counts vs What Doesn't

Not every bet you place will count. Here's what qualifies and what's a waste of your wagering window.

Counts toward wagering: Accumulator bets with 3+ selections, all at 1.40+ odds. Pre-match and live betting accumulators (if all odds qualify). Lost accumulators -- the stake still counts. You don't need to WIN.
Does NOT count: Single bets (even at high odds). 2-leg accumulators. Any accumulator where even one leg is below 1.40. Cashed-out bets. System bets (Lucky 15, Trixie, etc.). Bets placed with real money balance (only bonus balance bets count).

I placed a beautiful 5-leg accumulator once, felt great about it. One leg was Arsenal at 1.35 odds. Didn't count. Five minutes of double-checking would have saved me a wasted bet and a day of wagering time.

Strategy -- How I Clear the Sports Bonus

I use 3-leg accumulators with heavy favorites. Yes, the combined odds are low, but the goal is clearing the requirement, not hitting a 10-leg parlay.

My strategy breakdown:

My last sports bonus clearing: 22 accumulator bets over 25 days. 14 won, 8 lost. Total staked: $1,100 (slightly over the $1,000 minimum). Total returns: $2,340. Net profit of around $440. Not bad for placing a bet every other day.

Sports vs Casino Bonus Comparison

Honest assessment: if you bet on sports anyway, the sports bonus is almost free money. If you're a casino player, stick with the casino bonus and use 1xGames for the double credit.
